What's the deal with the samsung 226BW monitor?

Hi all.

I'm building a comp and I'm down to the last piece, the monitor. I have been doing some research and since I game a lot, I wanted to find a monitor that was suitable for my needs. The Samsung 226BW seemed to be getting absolute rave reviews from customers and review websites and since it was moderately priced, I figured it was perfect for me. But for the life of me I am having huge trouble finding one in Canada!

Both of the major Canadian online distributors, NCIX and TigerDirect say this item is "no longer available" as do many of the lesser known online retailers. Big box stores like futureshop, no chance at all. So whats the deal? Have these been taken off the market for some reason? Is there an upgraded version going by a different code? I don't get it, why would such a highly praised item like this go off the production line so quickly? If anyone knows please post!
