Restore failed.... BSOD

I did a restore to a month ago and now my machine blue screened.. I
cannot bring the restore back to my current date... it says I am
missing a file. How do I bring back my settings of today so I can get
the unit back up.

Hi Richard,

Try undoing the last restore using Safe Mode Command Prompt Only.

1. Restart your computer, and then press F8 during the initial
startup to start your computer in Safe Mode with a command prompt.
2. Log on to your computer with an administrator account or with an
account that has administrator credentials.
3. Type or paste the following command at a command prompt, and
then press ENTER:

%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

4. Choose, undo the last restore.
