I have recently become the proud new owner of a Samsung SyncMaster t240 and while I am very happy with it I'm currently having some rather bothersome issues with it. I'm running 2x 8800GTS video cards in my system, each with 2 DVI slots. Of course I plug the monitor in to the main card... but here is where the problem begins.

Every time I boot up, the monitor can't seem to find the signal from the DVI port it's plugged in to... and I have to get behind the machine and go to the second DVI slot on the main card.... Figuring that it was solved, I closed everything up and shut down for the day....

Same thing happened today, and of course, every time I power down the system. I'm having to cycle going back from Slot 1... to slot 2... back to slot 1, every time I boot up the system. This is what stumps me though.

Before I am forced to make the switch... I can see the post information, I can see the Windows splash logo and everything up until she has to go to the desktop.. where she loses her signal and requires me switching the DVI port to the second one.

I will say that I haven't plugged the Monitor into the secondary card yet.... but I have never encountered this problem on any other monitor.... Perhaps it's because I decided to use the driver that samsung provided? I don't see how that could be causing it....

Any input is greatly appreciated.
