I have just recently got cable net, tell you the truth i dont know how it got online cause when i tried to go thru the ICW it was telling me access is denied and i have to contact my network administrator...(i am not on a network). Is there a way to override this, maybe in the "regedit"? Someone please help.

You don't need to run the Internet Connection Wizard to get online with a cable modem, if the connection is two-way, and the modem is connected to a NIC card in the computer. The computer will automatically be online, whenever you reboot.

I suggest you contact your cable/ISP provider for more information on how to use the modem.

Actually, you are on a network, of sorts.
