There are many motherboards supporting PC-2100.

PC-2100 is the same thing as DDR-266.

You should be able to run PC-2100 in a PC-2700/PC-3200 system; the motherboard chipset will run all memory at PC-2100; The memory bus will run at around 133MHz, which should be good enough for at least a 1.5GHz processing frequency.

The board may take PC2100 but were u planning on using your old CPU or getting a new one that runs with a faster FSB and trying to use the old memory?

PC2100 should work with any newer board that supports PC2700 and PC3200. Memory controllers have the needed rations to run it. Using PC2100 with a modern processor will however result in decreased performance for that processor.
