Bluetooth Earpiece Device to use with Skype

I have a new Bluetooth Earpiece that I want to use with my laptop. I have successfully installed the device and it is recognized in Control Panel - Bluetooth Devices. I cannot get it to show up in Control Panel - Sound and Audio Devices. I want to use this device with Skype. The only thing that is being recognized in Control Panel - Sound and Audio Devices is the default Sigma Tel Audio. Therefore, when I try to choose this device in Skype it is not showing up there either. Still only the default shows up in Skype - Sigma Tel Audio. Does anyone have a solution. Thank you. Mary Ann
