I just got a new computer, and a new ASUS monitor. The speakers on it are really crappy though, and I can't place speakers in my room, because of the shape. So, I was looking for a good headset for movies, games, and music. But I was also gonna get a cheap clip on mic to have for games. So any suggestions on either one?

I meant to write I'm looking at $200 or less for the headset, and I think mics are generally cheap, so price doesn't matter on that

Can't advise on mics I'm afraid. I've always liked Senheisser headphonrs myself. Nice and warm sounding, without being too fatiguing with the higher frequency ranges. Bass is pretty dcent on them, without being overpowering. I currently use a chepish pair of HD457's with both my PC and also into an Onkyo TX-SR606 AV receiver. Good results with both.
