Hello everyone, I have a four month old HP Elitebook 8530w w/ 2.53 Ghz C2D CPU, Quadro FX770M GPU, 2 GB RAM @ 800MHZ, Windows Vista Business 32-bit

About three days ago, I tried to boot my laptop after a forced restart (freeze, lean on power button until it turns off, turn back on etc)

Upon doing so, I could not get into the normal log-in screen of "username and password" or "swipe finger" it would get to the loading screen before it but never go any further. I shut it down, then hit F8 and booted under service repair mode, which now works, however alot of functions are reduced, such as no iTunes, not all of the Control Panel options are working etc etc etc

Now, how can I fix this so that I can boot up my computer properly, and not have to worry about turning it into the tech service? Thanks in advance for your help, and will answer any questions that will lead to the answer. Thanks again!
