How to open iXtreme 6050 case (UC1 uATX chassis)?

Hi,

I have a Packard Bell iXtreme 6050 PC base unit, which uses the Packard Bell UC1 uATX chassis. You can see a picture of that at http://support.packardbell.com/uk/item/index.php?i=spec_UC1

Does anyone know how to open this case in order to access the motherboard? It's not obvious from looking, and there are plastic plates covering both sides of the case.

Have a look at the rear for two thumbscrews or screwheads of identical size on the right hand side (as you look at the rear of the case). These should release the case side. If not look underneath the case for release catches. Or try sliding off the right side cover (as seen from rear).

I recall a distress call about a similar model some months ago and even the idiots at PB couldn't help......
