is it possible to digitally extract individual audio tracks within one song already put on to a cd? If so, How do you do it? what do i need to accomplish this?

Do you mean you want to extract just, like, the guitar from a song?

No, thats not possible.

There is 'karioke" software which can greatly reduce the vocals form a stereo mix. But thats about as good as it gets without going to multi=million dollar processing and software.
