Hello all :)

Could anyone comment/outline differences between the two...

My understanding :o on the subject is....
-TV LCD's generally have lower max resolutions than their computer LCD counterparts.
-Either way, larger LCD screen sizes require good computer horse power (I have a 9550 Quad Core and 4870x2 GPU)

I am seeing some newer TV LCD's that have specs that are matching the specs of some higher end and larger computer LCD's.

For example....

compared with for kicks.....

Any thoughts on the two choices and the TV LCD vs dedicated computer LCD choices?

I currently have a Samsung 226BW 22". I was looking for a larger LCD. I mainly use the new rig for gaming.

THX :)

Screen size does not matter. It's resolution.

HDTV @ 1920 x 1080 have been out for quite some time. They have larger pixels and spacing in between pixels than monitors. You will probably need to sit further away to avoid seeing "grainy" images or words than from a PC monitor.

What's better? Don't know. I don't have a HDTV yet.
