I tried syncing my iPod to a new computer I bought and I received an error message, "this ipod is synched to another computer and cannot sync to this new computer. "I don't care to load the current songs on the ipod to the new computer, however, will I be able to purchase songs with the new computer and sync them to the ipod now?"

You should be given an option to "Erase and Sync" which will associate your iPod with the new library, it will erase everything on the iPod and sync it with the library on the new computer.

Anyway, try to deauthorize your iPod on the old computer at first.



You can use this iPod to computer transfer to copy your songs, videos, photos, playlists, podcasts and more from your iPod back to itunes on your new computer, thus you don't have to purchase that again.
