One day when I logged onto my computer, I found that there was a knew process called itype.exe

It was a driver for my external keyboard that I use with my laptop. It somehow got installed automatically. Is this a bug or is it something from Microsoft?

itype.exe is a driver for the Microsoft keyboard to enable the extended keys to work. However some viruses try to disguise themselfs as valid Windows programs. You should upload the file itype.exe to virus total to check it out if you are unsure about it.
