Second Partition Game Slowdown?

Should there be any game performance slowdown if game installed onto another partition("D") on same HD? (OS by itself on its own partition "C")

it is better disk management especially if u have a lot of memory and ur not using pagefile all the time

each partition will have varying degrees of defragmenting then and u can use different maintanace schedules

plus i find leaving the system boot drive (c fairly empty of data increases load times and system performance

Put 2x74GB Raptors in RAID 0, and forget about it. LOL. Load times minimal when in RAID. If you have a 1 GB of memory, the game will very rarely access the hard drive during game play, except loading new levels. Therefore, the hard drive will not have a big impact on performance when playing.
