mp3 file properties missing

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.general (More info?)

When I select properties and the summary tab for my mp3 files, I only get the
Track Number, Title, and Comment fields, with nothing filled in. Everything
used to be there. I am running a fresh install of Windows. Is there any way
to get this information recognized by Windows? I want to be able to sort by
track number. (If I open the file info in Winamp all the information is
there). Thanks.
