Reset embasy password

I AM THE FIRST OWNER ON MY LATITUDE D 830 AND I PLACED A PASSWORD TO IT HOWEVER IN TRYING TO RECONECT MY NETWORK SETTINGS AT THE OFFICE IT REBOOTED AND WHEN I TRIED TO LOG IN IT TELLS ME IT THAT I HAVE THE WRONG PASSWORD. I ALSO TRIED THE FINGERPRINT OPTION AND IT TELLS ME IT IS NOT REGISTER. HOW CAN I RESET IT? I CALL DELL TECH SUPPORT AND THEY TELL ME THAT I NEED TO REINSTAL OS XP
 
Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

1- Don't write all the problem in capital letter

2- In another PC download THIS, burn in to a CD and boot from this in your PC, go to password tools, Active Password Changer, scan drives, select C:, select your account, with the space key uncheck and check the two fields that the system show you, reboot the system and try to log in again.
