Nice. Too bad it's an Alienware. Wish more companies would use ATI high end mobility cards. They need to knock NVidia's mobile prices down a few notches.

Well, not sure about that one. The Clevo based Sagers all use NVidia cards. Clevo seems to have a deal with NV so I don't see it happening, though I think it would be nice. The only laptop that Sager sells with an ATI card is based off a Compal chasis.

Yes but i think the 9850 uses the same chipset as AW M17x so it can work with 4870

Compatibility isn't the issue, I'm sure they could use the 4870 if they wanted to. It just seems that Clevo is content to sell with NVidia instead of or in addition to ATI. Which is a shame :pfff:

Yeah i read that in a notebook forum too that Clevo High end models only use Nvidia
