Hey everyone. I need some advice. Im buyng a new laptop and id like to play some games on it. I understand itll not be as good as desktop but its a laptop i need. Im new enough to computers so i need help in choosing. The 8700M GT's were weak and now outdated cards, so I would toss the Asus G70 out the window right from the start. After that it's between the G60 and the MSI GT729. The GTX260M and the Mobility HD4850 are about equal so you have to decide between the Quad Core Q9000 in the MSI and the faster clocked Dual Core P8700. Most games are still only designed for 1 or 2 cores. So if your main purpose is gaming, I would choose the faster dual core CPU.
