Title says it all. Looking for the best bang for my buck under $600 before shipping and taxes. I currently have a Samsung 226BW (22' 2ms 1680x1050) and was wondering if there's anything out there yet that's an upgrade in size and performance. I'm not yet sold on the Hans-G and have no experience with an ultrasharp.

Many Thanks.

My suggestion is the 2408 shown here. Refurbished units are available on Dell website for a lot less. Google and find reviews.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if the ultrasharp refurbs guarantee the no dead pixels?

Edit: Hey it looks like I could pick up a 27" for ~649. It worth the $200 difference from the 24"? Thanks!

which 27" is that?

I'm also in the market for a 25.5~27" myself as I'm sick of my Samsung 2232BW and i feel it's too small

There is no brand name out there that guarantees a no dead pixel policy. New or refurbished.

The exception may be the high end LCD monitor from Eizo which are way beyond your budget.
