Can anyone tell me a way to turn off laptop LCD permanently?

I dont want to close the LID to turn it off, because heat gets trapped

I have found programs that turns off the LCD, but the LCD gets turned on again when there is mouse and keyboard acitivity.

I need the LCD to be off even when there is keyboard/mouse activity. Im using remote desktop to control the laptop, so I dont need the laptop LCD to be on!

there are no fn + F(X) keys to be pressed to turn LCD off as far as I know.


HP Pavilion dv6500 , vista 32bit...
