Wich CPU

ASUS G51 is released with several CPUs . Above all are these tow models :
Core 2Dou T9600 with 2.8 Ghz clock and 6Mb cash
Core 2Quad Q9000 with 2.0 Ghz clock and 6Mb cash
Does any one know the deference in categories below :
engineering softwares such as Auto CAD , Catia , Matlab ...
3D softwares such as 3D Max , Maya , ...
Video and Audio editing
Gaming

Tasks like 3DMAX,MAYA,etc work better with QuadCore,go for Q9000 it's not bad for gaming too since most games are GPU-limited

Well u can't say T9600 performs better than Q9000 in all games because most games are GPU limited also there are some games like GTA IV,and some games like RTS mostly.
If u play CPU intensive games on high resolutions then Q9000 may limit u because its 2.0GHZ,but in other games like most FPS shooters u will be fine with a Q9000

It depends. Games like first person shooters need more graphical horsepower, so what CPU you are running doesn't have too much influence on your framerate. This is also dependent, somewhat on the resolution you are playing your games at. However, RTS games rely a little more on the CPU, so having a stronger multi-core CPU will benefit you more but having a strong GPU will still help.
