Hello everyone this is Shatterd Monkey here and thank you for taking the time to read my post.

I would like to start off saying Sorry if this is in the wrong section ( Admins Please Forgive)

Heres what i thought of doing guys.

Bought me an adapter for sound also called the optical adapter for the 360

So can i just buy some A/V cables i also bought and plug those into this nifty thing here>>

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_ [...] &x=13&y=19

and then plug the other end of the a/v red and white cables into my optical adapter. Plug the RCA femalex2 into my PC in and my pc will Automatically output audio to my speakers?

ORRR

Would it just be easier as i already have (cracked) my original component/composite adapter that came with my xbox to fit into my xbox and plug the red and white cables into the RCA femalex2 and plug that into my PC IN hole?

Whoo mouthfull for me. I think im making it more complicated than it should be, correct?

This kind of application is been ask before, see here: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] ard-output

The output wouldn't make a difference if you can't get input signal.

The latter option would work but why do you need to use the computer when you can just connect the Xbox audio output to your amplified speakers or amplifier directly using adapter if needed?

I'm missing something here... What model is your speaker system and if you can post some photos, it would help alot.

How do you connect your Creative speakers to get audio signal? and game consoles comes with stereo audio signal output as a standard, so you can connect to any regular stereo input.

This unit:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_ [...] &x=13&y=19

is 3.5 male to female RCA and what you need is 3.5 female to female RCAs to connect regular (standard) amplified PC speakers.

Or you can just add this unit (coupler)

http://www.cables4computer.com/Cab [...] upler.html to this unit http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_ [...] &x=13&y=19 which equals as female to female 3.5 to RCA.
