Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to replace a USB port on a printer. I recently had a piece of the USB port in my HP printer brake off and I've had no luck with HP trying to find a replacement part. Is it possible?

Thanks for any help on this!

Ive had the same problem. I bent one of the pins and dont know what to do. The only thing I can think of is to take the printer apart, take out the port and solder in a new one. Have U got any other ideas?

My friend has the same problem and bent/broken one of the pins and looking to replace this port. The PC does not recognise the printer anymore because of this. Have u got any solution to this yet? Please let me know where I can get this specific port on internet and approx price. I think it is Hi-Speed USB 4 pin USB Type B but I failed to get a visual for this type of USB on any site so far, thus could not confirm if it is this. Thanks in adv
