Installing MS Office 2007 Vista 32 bit on Windows 7 64 bit

I have a MS Office Pro. 2007 I found out it is Vista 32 bit certified can I make it work in a Windows 7 64 bit. I can't even get the computer running windows 7 to recognize the disk and when I click on start, computer, e: the thing freezes up. I have Norton 360 which I shut down while i tried to install, didn't make A difference. I am thankful to anyone who can help

I can't speak to your Windows problem, but Office 2007 definitely works just fine in 64-bit Windows 7. It installs just like any other program.

I don't know why you would be having issues but office 2007 is compatible with Windows 7 64 bit. I use it on my machines.

I have tried to install several times on 2 different computers with windows 7 and not able to do so
