Hi,

As I understand it, the smaller the dot pitch, the crisper the display is. I have noticed that my friend's 24" Apple Cinema Display is notable more crisp than my Gateway FHD2400 and the Cinema Display's dot pitch is listed at .25mm versus my .27mm. Is this why, and if so are there any alternatives to the Cinema Display for that kind of dot pitch? Perhaps a list of 24" monitors with low dot pitch?

On another note, is it possible to order a replacement panel for a monitor to fix it yourself? I was given an FHD2400 with crack on the screen (inside on the panel, the actual screen is fine). I was thinking about replacing the panel in it so I could have a dual monitor setup. Also on that note, would I be able to swap the old broken panel with say an S-PVA panel, or would I have to stay with TN?

Thanks for your help in advance!
