i am using ibm desktop win xp sp3.the sound just went off and when i look at the device manager under the sound,video and game controllers,i can see black exclamation mark inside yellow circle in all the components under sounds.what should i do?

Register or log in to remove.

Try to disable , restart then enable it. If that doesn't work, disable it from the bios the enable it back next reboot. If the your audio is and add-on soundcard then reinsert the card then reboot.

It should try to install the driver when re-enabled, if the drivers were ok, you're set. Otherwise reinstall the driver.

I can access my bios set-up. But I don't know how to enable audio from the bios set up..picture would be a great help..
