Buzzing problem

Hey guys,

i have been having this problem where my speakers have a low buzz to them. it isn't really noticable unless i turn the volume way up, but it is very annoying with headphones. it sounds like static but i don't under stand why i would be having static through my computer which is grounded through the main power line.... currently my rig is sitting on carpet and there is a mild to fair amount of dust. i doubt that is the problem but i will let yall be the judge of that. anyways... here are a few system specs in case it helps...


X48 Gigabyte motherboard

Intel Q6600 stock speed

dual 4870 crossfire

750 Watt corsair PSU

Antec 900 case

if yall have suggestions or ideas as to what is wrong please let me know i will check this consistently.
