ok heres the story my brothers girlfriend wants to buy a laptop pc but she doesnt really know much about computers, neither do i lol but im sure im the one that knows the most of the three of us so heres the specifications -if ud call them that way lol-

the screen resolution is not problem but she needs it to run those in the Q #7

4_Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

5_How much battery life do you need?

mid-low i mean 4-2 hours

6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

shes not into the gaming thing

7_What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing,watching movies, Etc.)

she needs it to run freehand, flash, photoshop, acrobat abode, and student stuff plus normal things like surf the internet and that stuff....

8_How much storage (H.D.D Capacity) do you need?

i think that 160 the most

ok she wont be using the optical drive much and i think for the size the mayority of those models require to buy an external CD drive

mostly HP cuz dont know all desktop and laptops ive ever had have been HP but any other good advice about brands are welcome

ok i travel like every 4 months to U.S. -most likely to San Francisco C.A. or new jersey- so i guess theres no problem with the payment, brand and the warranty and im planning on going this coming december
