I keep getting a pain in my neck when i use my computer for a long time. At first, i thought that it was a headache from playing too much but then i started getting neck-aches even when not playing for too long (1 hour to two hours) and i started thinking maybe it was my chair. I never felt comfortable studying or doing any real work sitting in my chair it always felt wrong sitting in it so i figured maybe it's because its not ergonomically designed and messes with my back and neck. I want to get a new chair and am considering this one

anyone got any suggestions or ideas on what a good chair would be?

also, the top of my monitor is higher than my eye height. Was wondering if this may be a cause of neck pain as well.

There are a ton of suggestions out there for better ergonomics - a lot of websites have ways to set up your work or gaming space to minimize issues. Typically a really good desk and chair can be super helpful. Sometimes they're rather expensive, but it can be worth it to avoid health issues! Best of luck :)

Having your eyes higher than your eye height does have some effect, especially if you're looking at your computer for long hours. Would be good if you can get a chair that is adjustable on its height tho, and an ergonomic chair would of course help this. Though, those typically are more expensive. If you're under budget though, you could go for one that has high back instead like the Lorell High Back Executive Chair. There's a lot of reviews you can find on the net, you can also check it at http://www.comfyofficechair.com, just so you can have an idea what it's like.
