Anyone experienced with Nutone In-Ceiling Speakers?

I recently purchased 6 Nutone GS626 in ceiling speakers, planning to use them in a 6.1 layout for my HTS. Has anyone ever had any good/bad experiences with them? There is not ONE product review on the web that I can find. The specs are as follows:
• One Swivel 1/2" Mylar Tweeter
• One 6-1/2" Woofer

• Impedance: 8 ohms
• Frequency Response: 40-21,000 Hz +/- 3 dB
• Power Handling Capacity: 100 Watts RMS
• Sensitivity @ 1m with 1Watt input: 90 dB


Anyway, just prior to installation, I got nervous about using a 2 way speaker as a center channel, and called Nutone. They advised I didn't, so I figured if the Mfg advised that I didn't, then I probably shouldn't! And I can't use their CC, as I promised my wife I would have everything In ceiling. So, I just upped it to a 7.1, but have got to find a suitable center.

So, would anyone be able to offer any suggestions on a decent in ceiling center channel? I can probably get away with a shelf model if I must, but it definitely can't be black (as is the Nutone model in the same line.)

I'd appreciate any suggestions someone might be able to offer. I'm also going to need a 7.1 receiver, (hopefully) in the sub- $500 range, so I would appreciate any feedback there as well.
