Hi,

2 years ago I bought a 12" Laptop. The laptop has worked perfectly for the 2 years I have owned it but recently I decided to upgrade to 4GB of RAM to keep in track with my desktop. Unfortunately when I put the 2 new 2GB sticks (both Corsair 667 to keep compatibility) the laptop has started to reset after seconds of loading Windows. The reset will occur either on the log on screen or just after logging on however, it usually only takes about 30 seconds. There is no warning at all, the computer just goes blank and back to the BIOS splash screen, the fan doesn't even stop spinning.

I have tried swapping out the RAM sticks to figure out if I have a bad stick however both sticks work fine individually and even work fine when combined with one of the old 1GB sticks. I am currently running on 3GB RAM and everything is perfect, however whenever I try both the 2GB sticks I get this problem.

I have tried turning off automatic restarts in the 'Startup and Recovery' options however I still don't receive an error and the computer restarts.

The specs are:

Intel T7500 2.2GHz Processor
4GB 667MHz Corsair RAM
Intel GMA900
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
