Phoenix,
That's because it's clipbrd.exe, not clipboard.exe; It's located at
C:\WINDOWS\system32, & C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386.

Phoenix,
Also, when you search for clipbrd.exe, you need your 'Advanced Options'
search feature checked along with the first 3 boxes inside Advanced Options.

Posting to an XP group would seem a bit strange if you have Win ME.
The clipboard viewer is optional In Win ME.
If you really want it (it is a poor excuse for a viewer) then install
it.
Control Panel-Add/Remove-Windows Setup-System Tools-Clipboard Viewer
It is not necessary for the operation of the clipboard and I don't
have it installed in Win ME. The clipboard functions correctly.

WOW, what a compliment.....thank you Alan!!!
Was meaning the operating system of ME though. The term of beta has been
coined since it came out for retail. But I didn't say that, especially on
an MS Newsgroup. )
