My friend asked me about burning 4 dvd's at once on the same computer, I didn't know anything about it. Can this be done?
What about 2 at a time or 3?

Hes welcome to try but more than likely hell end up with at least 1 or 2 toasters. I can see doing 2 but no more.
If he really wants to burn that many they have machines that can do like 7 to 10 at one time.

Have your friend buy a duplicator. Even if he were successful at multiple burns (which I doubt is possible on IDE or SATA - SCSI may be the best success percentage), it would take longer to complete. No time saved there.

Duplicator is the way to go.
