What Soundcard for a Dell Dimension E521

Hi everyone.

I posted this under "Audio" but got no response, so I thought I might ask the 'Dell' forum.

My question is, what Creative soundcard can I fit to a Dell Dimension E521. I've had the pc about 3 years and would like to upgrade the sound. Currently I have "on-board" sound which is pretty rubbish.

I've read certain articles that if a soundcard is fitted to this Dell, you lose sound to the front headphone socket.

I also would like to know what type of expansion slot it is (PCI or PCIe)

Run a Google search for "Dell Dimension E521". You should be able to find a list of all the ports inside. You might also want to try checking the Device Manager to see what port your current sound card uses.
