I have a Gateway FPD2185W TFT LCD Monitor and powered it off last night. When I came to power it back on the bright blue power light went to a very dim blue so I powered it back off and nothing happened. I pulled the power cord out and back in and the bright light came on blinked 1 1/2 times and dimmed again. Can anyone tell me what happened and how to fix it? Thanks for any information.

Try disconnecting the VGA or DVI cable at both ends and then re-attach.

Otherwise you should probably deal with Gateway's support. Perhaps someone posted a similar issue on thier forum.

I would contact Gateway then or at least go to their forum to see if others had a similar issue.
