Analog to Digital conversion box

Hello,
Is there anyway to get a non digital tv to work without buying the converter box or cable? PLEASE HELP> DISabled and can't do much but watch tv. Thanks

There is still terrestrial TV being broadcast in most countries -- though I can only speak for the UK. In theory you just need an aerial.

But DTV (Freeview in the UK) boxes cost peanuts and give a much wider choice -- most of it rubbish it must be said but a few gems included.

Many boxes will plug into the aerial socket of the TV -- though a TV with a SCART or other Digital input makes setup much easier.

Speak to a retailer which specialises in electronics for the best advice.
