My WinXP Pro has just alerted me about a password issue. It says that my password is about to expire in 12 days and if I don't supply a new one the system will stop working. I think this is just a security thing in WinXP Pro. I want to find a way where I can remove the expiration on the password. I don't want it to bother me again in 30 days after I give it a new password now.

Thanks for all who helps!

He didn't say it was an Administrator password. And as such, I provided a link that answered the question ... no more, no less.

A quick search would have brought up the same page in a few seconds.

He didn't break any forum guidelines, and I'm not his Admin, or the forum moderator. And neither are you, ej, as far as I know. If you didn't want to answer the question, I feel that you should have just clicked on by, and ignored it. I think it's better to say nothing at all if a post bothers you, if at all possible. And of course, there's always that "X" in the top-right corner. But that's just my opinion, and you are certainly welcome to disagree. I won't hold it against you, if that matters.

"If you didn't want to answer the question, I feel that you should have just clicked on by, and ignored it"

*sigh*

Touche.

Actually, I did answer it, but not in a very polite manner. I suggested that he change his login to "Administrator", which cannot be removed from the system and deal with the password problem from there.

/me feelz ashamed...

Don't feel that way this whole attitude thing here reminds me of something that happened earlier today. I was trying to turn into a shopping center and traffic was stopped in the other lane since they had a red light and there was a long line... well there was a space between two cars, so I proceeded to go thru the two cars to turn into the shopping center since traffic behind me was stopped waiting for me to turn. Needless to say this white trash yeehaw in a huge mammath Ford F-350 super dully cab tractor pull something or another almost rammed into me and flicked me off, totally on purpose. What set me off even more were the huge "United We Stand" American flags on his back window after he tried to kill me. So I proceeded to roll down the window and let him know how I felt, and I quote "YOU piece of fu--ing white trailer trash s-it YER mom is an illiterate cunte whore".

Needless to say I have a potty mouth, but I was PO'ed as his huge monster truck almost ran over my jeep. My point, no need for the 'tude ppl. Life can be annoying as it is.
