I want to connect my mac book to the tv for watching movies, but have not been able to find the right cable. the tv is a bit old with just the yellow/red/white imputs-there is no hdmi. anyone know what i need?

What outputs does the macbook have?

The macbook probably only has a display port output - in that case, it can't be done. Need a PC.
