Hello. I have my realtek high def audio drivers installed and they show up in device manager as working properly. When I plug something in, it even detects it and says something to the effect of, "you have plugged something in"
However, I still have no sound. Im testing the audio with a set of headphones I also know work. Nothing is on mute as far as I know. This one has me stumped.
The only hint I can offer is that someone uninstalled some programs and might have uninstalled something related to audio. Also, I had system restore off so I cant use that 
(learned my lesson there).
