Why beeping computer 3 times and does not starts

my processor 2.7 dual core Intel, S.no.3016A838,mother board 41 RQ original Intel and ram is 2 GB DD R II Simitronics.
when we start the system it does not showing the pictures and and beeps three times.
what is the fault of this system?

Sounds like your memory might have some issues. I'd try 1 stick at a time, If you have 2 or more sticks available.

memory or video card error. it depends on your bios manufacturer. and the beep sequence ie 1 long 2 short..2 long 1 short..etc

Try to get the manuals of your motherboard and check the specific meanings of the beeps. Your motherboard is sending you an alarm and with the sequence of beeps tells you what problem it found.
