I have a acer laptop that keeps shutting down intermittently when start-up begins. It does not do this at the same time everytime. It acts the same way with the battery out or the power cord out and vice versa. Sometimes it boots to windows, sometimes it shutsdown b4. It never makes it past 3 minutes. When it shuts down the power button just blinks and it trys to restart but nothing comes up. Any help?

it is a 5520-5290 if you need that info. I have switched out the power supply, changed back to the orginal hard drive, and replaced the RAM and the start up issue persists still. I have used differnt combinations of RAM also and started it up in all combinations of power supply/battery in/out.
