Acer 751h wireless connectivity issues

Hi all,

Problem : I recently purchased an ACER 751h. The wireless is not detecting the available networks. However, when I go the the BSNL's site (I am using BSNL service for broadband), and click save/apply in the wireless >> security page, it detects the home network.

How do I overcome this problem :ie., not connecting to the wireline broadband to activate the wireless each time.

Support would be appreciated. Thanks for the help.
