How many devices are in your "DHCP Client List"?

It sounds like you ran out of IP addresses to me (your server is only
giving out a max. of 11 IP's).

The xbox's MAC address by default should start with 00-50-F2-**-**-** as
that is the starting sequence for Microsoft networking products.

Someone could have hacked in wirelessly to your MN-500 and taken IP's
from the router. I strongly recommend enabling MAC filtering as well as
128-bit WEP to secure your wireless connection. Another thing that can
increase wireless security is disabling the DHCP server & changing the
LAN IP address range to something other then the default 192.168.2.*
range. One last thing the lease can run anywhere from 15 minutes to 14
days which means the IP is still being used even if the device is off.

I'm not connecting wirelessly. I have my network setup
for MAC filtering and have my DHCP range set to
192.168.2.30-40 as previously posted. I have my wireless
setup though for 128 bit encryption, SSID is not
broadcasted. I don't think there's anyone in my little
area that would be able to get in. I have also changed
the default addy to the router from the 192.168.2.1.

I can connect but sometimes i recieve the error "cannot
assign requested IP address."
