hi I just got a SVGA cable today to connect my sony vaio to my samsung tv. It is the right connection because a staff member in sony advised us to buy it. It's the wiresnx techlink cable. When I connect it my laptop detects the cable but when I go into navigation I cannot adjust the settings for the television. Also when i try to go onto the source on the tv it says "no signal" and the pc source is not clickable. I need help badly.

Did you go into the control panel and make sure that you have the second screen enabled?
