Hello All,

I'm planning to buy a new laptop,

my requirements is a laptop with good processor and good rams and battery life, i do not care about the graphics card nor the layout of the laptop as i'll use it in a business work only.

today i see laptop names " Acer Aspire Timeline 3810T". it has all the specs i need but i read that it uses core-2 solo not core 2 due. is that a problem and what is the problems may i face by using core 2 solo instead of core 2 due? and if you are one of its users what is your opinion on it?

Regards,

Well, it all depends on what kind of business/work you do. The difference between a solo/duo is that a solo is a single core CPU and duo is a dual core CPU. Depending on what you plan to do with the computer, a dual core CPU can essentially do twice the work of a single core CPU. Your best bet would be to go with a dual core CPU, if you aren't on a budget.
