i have a friend who is an IT guy and is legally blind. he uses a big, bright monitor set to a lower resolution, and I think that he uses the software-driven on-screen magnifying glass. also, i think that you can select icon size in the OS.
wondering: does a bright screen help her read? is a CRT or LCD better for her. Monitors vary greatly in how they show type quality.
have you check with that association for the blind?
ps: if you are asking, how do you know that there are 5 ways? lol
...oh, is this a test?
pps: what operating system does she use? you have to tell us.
