The Problem

Hello,
Something is terribly wrong. My camera thinks it is wifi connectivity. Whenever I plug the entire camera in, or even just the memory card, it asks me if i want to add my computer to Mike's Wifi
I am not really sure how to go about dealing with a confused camera.

I suspect you need to download the full manual for your camera from the CD or maker's website (most only come with the quick start version printed these days).

Then you'll find there's a menu setting which reset the camera to factory defaults and stops the wireless nagging.
