[40K][WTB] Help w/parts for conversions?

Howdy all!

I have somewhere around 50 or so still unbuilt plastic
MkVI RT-era beakies (one *gang* (36?) still in the original
box!), and I've decided I want to pull out enough for some
of the goons for my new chapter. There are a few things
about the old boys I don't really like (the poorly sculpted
and molded hand on the L arm -- and basically the arms
themselves -- and I wanted to upgrade their weaponry as
well -- replace the old bolters, give 'em new and different
flamethrowers, etc. -- so at least I plan on doing up a few
5-man combat teams, maybe an assault squad, and also
create a command squad (and a *character* or two), all
using the basic RT-era plastic MkVI trooper models as a
starting point. Well, where I get the minis to start my
project isn't really important at this stage (I ought to hold
on to that guaranteed-to-increase-in-value original boxed
set for instance), but I have decided on one conversion I
will be implementing for sure, and the parts I'll need to do
it. That of course is where all you fine folks enter the
picture. :-)

What I'm looking for is basically several of the 5-set
sprues of arms, shoulder pads, and bolters, or the 1-set
sprues of same -- only without the shoulder pads. I went
to the GW site to price some of the sprues, but they're
$5.00 per set, which is a bit more than I'd like to pay (I
just wanted 20 plastic bolters and 20 plastic R&L arms,
and once the GW mail order weenie added in the S&H,
it was going to set me back about $32.00! I really don't
have ca$h like that to shell out anymore for such simple
mods, so I was hoping some of you mighty nice folks
might be willing to help me out for say... 60 cents or so
per set of arms and bolters? Then a couple more bucks
for simple USPS S&H? I SURE would appreciate it! It
unfortunately becomes obvious very quickly this would
have to be a continental US only deal, as any overseas
freight would push the cost out of reach again. Sorry!

So there's no confusion, what I want are the bolters
and arms that are available in the Tactical and/or Battle
Force boxed sets. The bolters are the newer, nice and
symmetrical ones, with a skull or single wing Imperial
icon on their R side instead of the old double-wing icon
found on the older models. The arms are easy to dis-
tinguish, as they're the sets where the L hand has a
very distinct U shape, so that it looks MUCH more
realistic wrapped around the bolter (as opposed to the
old *flat* hands on which the bolter just lay, or worse,
the bolters that plugged into the SMs *belt* and also
had an attachment on the L arm (the hand was mold-
ed into the bolter itself)). Pretty easy -- if the bolter has
any double eagle-wing icon: that ain't it. And, if the set
of L&R arms doesn't have two arms with hands attach-
ed (and the left arm with that U-shaped, cupped hand),
well, that ain't it either. ;-)

I hope I've clearly described what it is I'd like to try
buying from y'all (I'd be happy to trade, too -- if you can
round up what I want, let me know what you want, and
I'll see what I can do). So... if anyone can round up 10
sets, with S&H I'd be perfecly willing to pay $8.50 or
so. For 20 sets: how about $16ish? And for 30 sets,
what about $22.00? Lastly, I can't see needing more
than 40, so if someone has that many... y'all think
maybe the neighborhood of $30.00 would do it?

And... as long as you're digging around the old bitz
boxes, I sure could use some scopes, knives, pouches
and such! :-) Maybe about a quarter per (I am VERY
interested in acquiring 'scopes especially, with knives
a close second)? Nothing ventured, nothing gained,
as they say, so I figured I might as well ask and see
if some kind soul out there can hook me up! Well kid-
dies, whaddayasay?
