Hi all. I received an email with a url link. However when i click on the link
the web page could not be displayed. The link is valid as i am able to enter
the link via other pc. I have set my web browser to default settings via
tools->internet options->programs->reset web settings. I have also ensured
that URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol is available under tools->folder
options. However my web page still fail to display after i invoke the url
link. Please advise. Thks in advance.

Hi,

Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 urlmon.dll. Then go to:
IE/Tools/Internet Options/Programs/Reset Web Settings.

That should do it, if not:

Check your settings here:

Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/File Types. Scroll down to
URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol/Advanced/Edit.

Under Application used to perform action it should read:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -nohome
