I have an hp g85 officeject all in printer

I have an HP G85 officejet all in one printer that I am trying to install on the same computer as it was originally on but the computer does not read it, I can not find the disk that it came with ( I purchased this printer YEARS ago! ) what could be wrong?

See if HP have a driver pack for your model and download it.

this is not much of a problem, first you should check that whether it is even detecting the printer or not. if it is detecting but you can not work coz the driver is not installed, you can go to HP official site and according to your model you can download the driver for XP windows.

I am running Lion on Mac and the HP g85 does not work for me either. The computer recognizes the printer, but it will not print. The scanner, fax and copier work just fine.
It stopped working when I loaded Lion on my Mac.
